Vicky Nelson was raised in London, England. She obtained a BA in Graphic Design and Illustration from Hornsey College of Art, London. Moving to New York City, she built long-term freelance relationships Fortune 500 corporate clients in the financial, insurance, and healthcare sectors.
After 9/11 impacted her business, Vicky moved upstate to Woodstock, New York, where she renovated a historic building and founded a community arts center and bed and breakfast.
While exploring creativity through classes at the inn she developed a language of color and expression, creating a system of Art Healing classes to connect directly with the creative subconscious and access personal inner wisdom.
Art Healing classes, both for groups and individuals, have helped clients identify the source of key issues in their lives while revealing core inner strengths and pathways to inner peace and resolution.
She now resides in Southern California where she instructs weekly classes in Art Healing, Painting, and Creativity coaching at Two Bunch Palms Resort and Spa.
